We are a small, family owned and operated business who started growing grapes in spring 2016. We now have 3,000 vines, each hand planted and tended to, they are happy and growing. The varieties include: Marquette, Fredonia, Catawba, Chambourcin, Niagara, Saperavi, Cabernet Franc, Arandall, and Itasca. We also get grapes from local, PA vineyards to help us make quality wines. We are a PA Preferred Vendor.
Vineyard manager and wine maker, Than, works as an IT director in the local school district during the day, and on evenings and weekends, enjoys his time tending to the plants in the vineyard and experimenting with the science of making wine. Terri, business manager in charge of the tasting room, advertising, and events, is an English teacher and librarian in the local school district and enjoys the planning and organizing of the business aspects of the vineyard and winery.
Family members Jim, Mike, and Will and neighbor George help with various vineyard and winery tasks, and we couldn’t do this without everyone’s help.
In September 2019, we took over the former Kurtz flower shop in Hamburg and we opened November 30, 2019. Come visit our tasting room from 4-7 pm on Friday’s and 12-6 on Saturday’s. Check our FB page and Google business page for closings when we are at off site events.
